Moscow – PhosAgro ("PhosAgro" or "the Company") (MICEX-RTS, LSE: PHOR), a leading global vertically integrated phosphate-based fertilizer producer, announces that an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM) on 28 September 2012 approved an interim dividend payment for the first six months of 2012 of RUB 4,730,129,040, or RUB 38.00 per share (RUB 12.67 per GDR).
PhosAgro CEO Maxim Volkov said: “Since its IPO, PhosAgro has committed over RUB 11.8 billion to dividend payments, which represents more than half of its IFRS profit for the period.”
The record date for the EGM and the 6M 2012 dividends was 22 August 2012.
