Moscow – PhosAgro ("PhosAgro" or "the Company") (MICEX-RTS, LSE: PHOR), a leading global vertically integrated phosphate-based fertilizer producer, reports that it has increased its ownership in OJSC Apatit from 57.57% to 77.57%.
PhosAgro offered RUB 11,110 million on 4 September 2012 in the tender for the Russian Federation’s stake in Apatit. On 28 September 2012 PhosAgro signed the purchase agreement for the shares.
After paying in full for the shares on 4 September 2012, ownership of the Russian Federation’s 26.67% stake of ordinary shares of Apatit was transferred to PhosAgro.
