Moscow, 5 July 2023. PhosAgro was named the leader in a rating – compiled by the independent agency RAEX – of Russian companies with the best corporate ESG practices.
Compiled since 2018 on the basis of a comprehensive analysis of the quality of corporate management of ESG risks and opportunities, the rating currently provides information on about 160 companies. Group A, the leading group, includes the 15 companies that demonstrated the best performance in the areas of the environment, social relations and corporate governance.
PhosAgro not only topped the overall business rating in terms of the final ESG assessment but was also the leader in the categories of social policy impact and quality of corporate governance. The Company, along with NLMK Group and Polyus, was given a final ESG rating of AA.
RAEX CEO Dmitry Grishankov congratulated PhosAgro for its impressive achievements: «PhosAgro received more than 80 out of a possible 100 points based on the sustainability findings, thus making it the July leader in our monthly ESG ranking. It is particularly worth noting corporate governance, where PhosAgro received the highest score».
