Russian fertiliser manufacturer PhosAgro AG does not plan to further decrease its production of phosphate-based fertiliser as “prices are now moving upwards and demand for fertilisers is rapidly restoring”, CEO Maxim Volkov told IM.
PhosAgro has announced a reduction in its fertiliser production of diammonium phosphate (DAP) and monoammonium phosphate (MAP) by 18% during Q1 2012 as a result of a drop in fertiliser prices.
